The estate, 340 acres of vineyards, olive groves, wheat fields and green woods belongs to the Cascino Family. Lorenzo Cascino continuing the family tradition who has been producing wines and extravigin olive oils for 5 generations on Fattoria Bacìo successfully converted it into a modern estate completely replanting the vineyards and olive groves.
The new vineyards have found a perfect home: a sunny south-facing position and the modern agronomic techniques combine to increase the high quality of the wines.
The new olive groves allow several varieties of olives to be produced: Correggiolo , the prevailing quality, together with Leccino del Corno, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino . These are blended to create the extra-virgin olive oil Fattoria Bacìo with its intense green color, rich fruity flavor and extremely low acidity.
The single varieties of olives give the opportunity for extravirgin monovariety oils.
Each variety separated on one from the other, permits to use different agronomic techniques in order to obtain a unique extravirgin olive oil with a lasting, rich and fruity taste.
The Fattoria Bacìo is organically certified
Also, the wines produced at Montespertoli in the organic farm i Casciani , managed by Lorenzo Cascino, are organically certified.
